Nissan Sunny

Nissan India has unveiled mid-sized premium sedan Nissan Sunny today at an official function held at Hotel Taj in Bandra Mumbai. Prior to the unveiling there were speculations that Sunny could be named differently. Nissan Sunny launch has been scheduled this Diwali. Nissan Sunny priceis expected to remain around Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9 lakh. It has been built on the new ‘V’ platform similar to Nissan Micra but it is a totally different car and is not a sedan version of Nissan Micra.

Nissan Sunny Launch Date

Nissan has not yet announced the launch date of the car but it is expected that they will launch Nissan Sunny in the Indian auto market somewhere towards the end of 2011.

It is expected that Nissan Sunny price will be in the range of Rs 8 to Rs 10 lakh.

Overall

The wait for the sedan version of the Nissan Micra seems to be over now with the news that it will be unveiled on August 3 and launching soon. As promised by Japanese auto major, Nissan Micra, the small car will be followed by Nissan Micra sedan. The New Global Sedan is named as Nissan Sunny in India, a name that was initially decided for Nissan small sedan cars. This Sunny range was first introduced in 1966 and it underwent modifications took since then. Nissan has showcased the car at the 8th Guangzhou international Auto Expo in China in December 2010 and plans to launch in 170 countries across the globe. .
